Thank you for your interest in Pathways Lutheran Outdoor Ministries! Pathways has a deep and meaningful history at each of our camps, and we are excited about the future God has in store for you and Pathways! God may be leading you to give of your unique talents through our Volunteering Opportunities, give of your resources via In-kind Donations or give of your treasures via Giving Options or Planned Giving, which will enable the life-changing programs that affect so many youth and adults each year.

Look at how your financial gift makes a difference…

A gift to Pathways helps to continue Christ-based programming at reasonable and affordable rates giving thousands of youth, adults and families a chance to be refreshed and renewed at camp while experiencing God in a whole new and personal way. Currently, program fees only cover 60% of the costs to run camp, the remaining 40% comes from church membership and individual gifts, like yours.

Especially for the youth, Pathways helps them to enhance and build a solid foundation on Jesus. And as each of them grows into an adult, where decisions become harder, pressures become more intense and the craziness of life takes over, they may lean their foundation on Jesus.

Here are some encouraging statistics:

• Over 50% of Seminary Students attribute the #1 reason for going on to seminary is because of Bible Camp.

• Over 75% of paid Youth Directors accredit the primary reason for serving in the youth ministry to their Bible Camp experiences.

• Over 75% of the 20-30 year olds participating in their congregation relate their current participation directly back to Bible Camp.

With the average age of pastors in the ELCA rapidly increasing (over 30% are age 55 and above and only 6% are under the age of 35), we need you to join us in making a difference! We would like to start together at the root (of the above statistics) and bring the Gospel of the Lord to as many youth and adults as possible. Lives do positively change when people experience God’s love and grace at Pathways, people go forth from Pathways to become leaders in their churches and communities, people go forth into seminary, people go forth and make a difference in this world.
